Something is breaking in the social contract here. There is no cohesive reality now. I don’t know if that’s bullish or bearish for markets (I.e. we could see hyperinflation/stagflation/deflation) but it feels like we are increasingly headed toward some type of “event” as we move out of the 4th turning into the 1st turning. The heroes of this generation are usually the villains of the next. I just don’t think the placating leaders of this era realize how broken the institutions are. If I was sitting in a major seat of political or corporate power right now, I’d be genuinely nervous for my own safety. If you keep stifling volatility for long enough it has a way of manifesting in other areas….be careful out there…
