There’s a weird dualism with AI and robotics. They’re simultaneously overhyped and underestimated. Once we’re done having massive bubbles of scams and nonsense, these AI robots are gonna take all the jobs. Including the job of building more robots.

People so focused on arguing about whether AI is “real intelligence” they forget 99.9% of human skills are just pattern recognition and repetition. Being alive isn’t part of your skillset unless your job is primarily social. And then, only maybe.
