$NVDA JENSEN HUANG JUST SPOKE OK CHINA & AI OUTLOOK On China, he’s acknowledging the geopolitical ceiling that now exists for Nvidia with Blackwell series likely facing export restrictions. But his point that China already produces its own AI chips is a pretty big deal because it’s no longer a market that can be frozen out indefinitely. Demand for compute there will be met one way or another and Nvidia’s moat comes from software & not just silicon. On the AI outlook, the takeaway is much much larger when Jensen says we’re at the start of a ten-year buildout of a new computing platform which leads me to believe he’s talking about an architectural transition on par with the internet or mobile. AI is now commercially viable, workloads are scaling & infra spend is compounding. I agree with Jensen’s take that geopolitical friction may limit where Nvidia sells chips but it won’t slow the demand curve for AI compute globally.
