We just finished this amazing session with @maggielove_, and now I miss @shefiorg classes, lol.
There was this moment at the beginning of the class when all the girlies started mentioning their cohort.
I was reminded of how solid the SheFi community is fr, so many women in this space are one way or the other connected to SheFi. Maggie built something incredible tbh.
And learning from her on how to position myself for partnership is something I appreciate.
My top takeaways from this session:
- When someone says no, the rejection is not about you. They are only rejecting your offer; it is business. Don't make it a big deal and try again.
- Don't be afraid to be cringe and get things done. Send that email, that dm.
- Only pitch an offer when there is alignment; you probably won't get a yes if you're not aligned. Think of your brand as a customer service; how can you get the best results for partners or clients? Can you serve them well?
- Start with conversations, build a relationship and talk about their problems before any ask.
