Johnson: He was checked out of his job for quite some time, and there was a cover-up, the people around him. They would give him scripts… he did not know what he was signing…. he pardoned categories of violent criminals and turn them loose on the streets… You cannot allow a president to check out and have unaccountable, unelected people making decisions for the country
