Key thing here (re: AWS article) is there’s no data gravity The market is enormous - we’ll spend 3x more on AI than legacy cloud (!), but there’s little tie in between the two. If performance a bit weaker, there’s 7 places to go vs 3. 5 min switch vs major infrastructure change on legacy cloud. TAM much bigger, market structure worse (note: we do see them catching up a bit very recently)
