I dug on-chain to track what happened to the $S airdropped to the top 20 Sonic Kaito winners ⚠️I found a few eye opening things: ✯ Total airdrop for the top 20 wallets 498,700 $S ✯ From the total, 376,500 (75.5%) was sold ✯ Sellers vs holders: 15 sold, 5 Sonic soldiers still holding 🫡 🛑Here’s what really caught my eye: ✯ 10 out of the 20 wallets claimed from 2 different leaderboards. 50% of the sample ✯ The combined amount of multi LB claim is 220,700 in Sonic. That is a whopping 44% of 498,700 S So what's that mean? → The majority of the airdrop was dumped almost immediately and that sell pressure lined up right before the Oct 10 market flash crash → To be clear, people have every right to sell. As Drac said, this was a transaction. Meaning they got paid for their service → On the other hands, and to spell it out, what wallets do with their airdrop is outside of @SonicLabs control → But to me, it’s striking that a whopping 50% of the top wallets double-dipped, claiming from two different leaderboards (i.e English and non-English LBs) 44% of the (top 20) airdrop
