A few early observations on @BrooklynNets: 1 - Lack of size on the interior is a problem dealing with Kalkbrenner from the @hornets, but not just him. Claxton (and others) getting overpowered inside. 2 - MPJ has the green light and has been aggressive. Tried to dunk on Kalkbrenner and was fouled coming off the line in the corner. 3 - Saraf had a solid but unremarkable stint for his first NBA minutes. That's a big win for a rookie PG and I see why he got the starting nod so far. Didn't get overwhelmed right away. 4 - Mann a bit of an odd fit with the starters because the spacing is rough with Mann, Claxton, and Saraf all out there. 5 - Shooting overall is going to be the swing skill for the Nets rookies. If any of them seriously improve the shot, that is where huge upside for the Nets comes from.
