This is the correct take. Winsome Sears is one of the worst candidates I've seen...maybe ever. I get that some people don't like Spanberger's views on trans stuff. She's still going to win. The GOP should do some soul-searching as to why.

You cannot run a state-wide campaign in Virginia on hard-right culture war stances and expect to win. You just can't. That's especially true when the candidate is super unpolished and awkward, like Sears (sorry). It's crazy to me that anyone thought this would work.
