I’m not sure how anyone competes with Polymarket or Kalshi at this point. If you prescribe to Thiel’s Zero to One thinking, you see the vast lead these two have taken in terms of growth, market dominance, and liquidity. The only way an entrant wins is getting acquired by a large corporation that wants to be in the prediction market space. But that typically doesn’t lead to good long term outcomes for the acquired tech. If I’m wearing an investor hat in the space, I’d say you’re better off putting money into predictions than the platforms themselves.
