Earlier this year I came to the difficult realization that humans will soon be outpaced by AI in discovering and proving novel physics. After much deliberation, I decided the way forward was to work on building the AI that can go beyond the limits of individual physicists. In fact, I’ve taken a leave of absence from my PhD to help build a physics superintelligence with an incredibly talented, rapidly growing team. The goal of our company is extremely ambitious: to “solve all of physics.” Though my own motivation comes from hep-th, the mission is far broader. If you’re a scientist and see the writing on the wall, reach out and help shape this future rather than get left behind. We’re looking for excellent SWEs, full stack engineers, RL experts (hobbyists included), and physicists who want to develop AI’s that engage in frontier research.
