It is possible but here are the things that might hinder it or let me say things that might not allow you to execute this successfully;
If you find a pool with proper deep liquidity to handle 8 figures sales at once, then you are in for a meal.
Most pools now are very thin and can rarely handle huge transactions.
So you might get hit with a huge price impact that would probably eat up/swallow the profit you are about to make from the arb.
Even some high 4 fig sales these days are getting hit with price impact ( I’ve experienced this countless times ) talkless of 6 or 8 figures.
Another thing is you can get front run by Mev bots which would actually allow you to sell way lower than where you intended to sell at.
I would love to explain but it’s going to be a long tweet.
But check this out real quick haha;
Mev bots can sandwich you at your sell position by pushing the price down lower than where you intended to sell at.
If you wanted to sell $10.05m worth of a token at $0.05,
If Mev bots handle you with sandwich, you’ll sell at around $0.048 or something like that depending on the sizes they use in sandwiching you.
Now your $10.05m at $0.05 is;
( 10.05/0.05 = 201m which is the total amount of the token you were holding before trying to sell, so now it’ll be 201m x 0.048 since the new price is $0.048 after the Mev attack and that will be $9.65m )
Now, you have $9.65m instead of $10.05m because you got attacked by mev bots and that means you’ve entered a huge debt with the protocol you borrowed from.
I discovered how mev bots work sometimes last year when I was at @nestwalletxyz
