Update: ICM Relayer Bug Resolved The AvaCloud support team recently identified and resolved a bug in the ICM relayer that caused delays in transfers between C-Chain and L1s. These delays began around August 14th, becoming more frequent after September 5th, and peaking between September 13th-15th. The issue stemmed from the relayer's incorrect handling of periods with surging C-Chain gas prices, impacting clients such as Henesys MSU. Working in close collaboration with the Ava Labs Interop team, we pinpointed the root cause and implemented a fix. To improve our response time for similar future events, we have also established new monitoring systems. It's important to assure our users that no customer funds were ever at risk. The robust cryptographic guarantees and inherent system design of Avalanche L1 interoperability ensure that all initiated transfers are secure, cannot be canceled or censored, and will ultimately be completed as intended. We are dedicated to ongoing improvements and delivering the highest level of service. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by these service delays.
