First impressions are a helluva drug. No one in the replies, who already had Polkadot classified in their head, were swayed to try out the ecosystem even with highlighted opportunities. "Work your bag, but still not interesting" I think it's because none of the content persuaded people that what was being done was indicative of future growth (read: opportunity) and more about farming/mundane activities. Having someone bullpost and/or credibly defend the ecosystem/tech as something that will win out over incumbents is what will have people bookmark it as something to keep an eye on and get exposure to. Other than that, most can't be bothered because it's just marginal yield with a load of friction to learn the new stuff.
