➥ How to Accelerate Your Brand Monetization
If you're an aspiring content creator or looking to begin your journey in content creation, read and bookmark this post.
Many content creators often find themselves unsure about when to start monetizing their brand. Before reaching that point, it's essential to prepare, a process that involves trial and error, which can seem quite random.
However, you can shorten this phase and significantly increase your chances of success by applying the right model.
There are many tools available, but I use Lean Canvas from @ashmaurya. It helps me map and guide the direction of the Eli5 account.
In essence, Lean Canvas enables us to test ideas quickly and refine them from a business viability perspective, helping determine whether your content, as a product, will be a success.

Let's explore LC framework briefly:
➠ Customer Segments
Define who will read your content and identify your potential audience, as this will set the tone for how your brand communicates. List the ideal characteristics of your customers so you can refine your content based on their preferences.
➠ Problem
To understand this, you must know what your target audience needs. Do they need more DeFi, AI, or trading content? Understanding how they solve their problems also allows you to conduct market research on your niche.
➠ Unique Value Proposition
What makes your account or content unique? For Eli5, it's the infographic posts that can't be easily replicated and provide clear overviews in a digestible way. Once you've done your market research, you can create something different from other key players in the market.
➠ Solution
This section is crucial. List detailed content you want to create, for example: a deep dive about protocol X using Y analysis methods and Z charts. The more specific and refined your product explanation, the more distinct it will be.
➠ Channels
Consider how you distribute your content, whether through social media like X, TikTok, newsletters, websites, etc. You can target smaller platforms, but from my experience, focus on where your audience and other content creators converge. More traffic means not only better distribution but also more feedback and opportunities.
➠ Revenue Streams
As a content creator, you need revenue streams to keep your brand sustainable. List all possible income sources such as sponsorships, product placements, referrals, etc. With crypto's nature of financializing everything, there are endless possibilities.
➠ Cost Structure
You must think like a business. Include all operational expenses, and if you're doing this solo, add your "salary" component to ensure healthy and separate cash flow between your account and yourself as a person. Allocate funds for R\&D and possible expansion (adding team members).
➠ Key Metrics
This might be the hardest part. You need milestones for your account, but sometimes people make them too unrealistic. My advice is to focus on growth first and engagement. Financial metrics can hinder your growth; include financial metrics (MRR, ARR, etc.) later once you've established yourself as a valuable content creator.

The Lean Canvas has become a valuable tool for me in defining my unclear path, as it was also created to help startups find their product-market fit as quickly as possible.
Anyway, this became a long post, but it could be a good starting point for you to think seriously about building a brand and monetizing it.
