Decentralized compute, cryptographic verification, and tokenized rewards can coordinate global contributors without a single trusted intermediary. Practical limitations: Bandwidth, security, and incentive design remain real constraints. Still, when AI systems depend on broad participation and verifiable work, decentralized architectures start to look less like an experiment and more like a sensible design choice.
