Looking at current microstructure - innovation is happening rapidly @ protocol-level but it’s fragmenting liquidity in the process. The unlock is unifying infrastructure: shared liquidity, cross-protocol margining, fungible positions regardless of origin. Main question is therefore whether incumbents yield / migrate blockchain into existing ops before anyone can rebuild DTCC and CME Clearing on open rails.
