A black pearl, tainted with the sin of greed and cursed by Satan himself, lay buried beneath the earth, waiting for its next victim. Unearthed by chance after a Nazi ballistic missile missed its mark near Budapest, Hungary, the gem was found by a young George Zoroz. From the moment he touched it, the pearl took hold of his mind, warping his thoughts and amplifying his desire for more than life had ever granted him. Driven by an insatiable hunger for wealth and power, Zoroz abandoned his morals and logic, setting himself on a path of wanting to become a God. His first step into darkness came when he began working for Hitler during the Holocaust, serving as an informant and spy, betraying his own Jewish people. For every hidden Jew he uncovered, Zoroz was richly rewarded, building a vast fortune by selling out the lives of his brethren. Before the war’s end, Zoroz fled Europe, Greed tucked safely inside of his jacket’s pocket, it whispered in his ears. Over time, it fully ingrained into his soul. Under the black pearl’s spell, Greed, Zoroz's lust for materialism and dominance only grew more insidious. No longer content with the riches he had amassed, the pearl’s unsatiated desires infected entire nations, leading to civil wars and economic ruin. The actions that Greed influenced caused millions to starve and countless to perish, all for the sake of inflating its subject’s portfolio by the slimmest margin. The pearl’s dark pull had transformed George Zoroz into a living embodiment of greed, their desire and actions had caused a trail of devastation in their wake.
