Navigating Sui: AMMs - Haedal

What is Haedal?

Haedal is a prime liquid staking protocol natively built on Sui. It provides users with robust liquid staking infrastructure, allowing people to stake their SUI and Walrus token into validators to earn continual consensus rewards while unleashing LST liquidity to be used in DeFi. Haedal aims to become the ultimate place for users to stake and earn on Sui.

Haedal helps secure the Sui blockchain, contributing to its long-term sustainability, governance and decentralization. Additionally, Haedal is building a series of wingman products around its liquid staking infra, including Haedal Market Maker, haeVault and more. Its systematic product matrix can help Haedal capture significant value from the active on-chain trading flows on Sui, further optimizing its advantage in yield performance and providing stronger liquidity depth and efficiency to Sui users.

Why use Haedal?

Haedal is the first liquid staking protocol on the Sui mainnet, and its liquid staking token, haSUI, has become the most trusted LST on Sui. Powered by Haedal's intelligent validator monitoring system, haSUI delivers the best yield performance among Sui LSTs, making Haedal the go-to platform for users starting their Sui DeFi journey and exploring DeFi composability. As the most liquid LST on Sui, haSUI is widely integrated by major dApps like Cetus, Navi, Scallop, Suilend, and Bucket, solidifying its position as a mainstream asset in the ecosystem.

Looking ahead, Haedal’s LST yields will be further boosted with the introduction of wingman products like HMM and haeVault. Driven by its Hae3 landscape and strategies, Haedal continues to innovate, aiming to become the ultimate destination for users to stake and earn on Sui through its expanding suite of value-added products.

How to provide liquidity with Haedal

  1. Connect OKX Wallet: Click “Connect Wallet” on the Headal interface, select “OKX Wallet,” and approve the connection. Download OKX Wallet here.

  2. Select a pool in haeVault: Navigate to the “haeVault” tab, and select your desired pool.

  3. Provide Liquidity: Enter the amount of the token you would like to provide. The default setting is for both tokens in the pool. If you would like to provide liquidity with a single token, see below regarding Zaps.

  4. [Optional] Set Price Range: For a more custom strategy, you can also select the price range you would like to provide liquidity between. A smaller price range will generally correlate to a higher yield rate - as long as the token pair stays within specified range.

  5. [Optional] Use a single token to provide liquidity: Click on “Zap” in the Haedal interface above where you would enter the amount of tokens. This will enable you to provide liquidity with just a single token.

  6. Confirm Transaction: Click on “Deposit” and sign transactions to confirm your position.

About AMMs

Navigating Sui: AMMs & Liquidity Pools

What is a liquidity pool? Why should I contribute? In conventional finance, banks and brokers profit from facilitating trades by controlling order books and charging fees. With Automated Market Makers (AMM) and liquidity pools, everyday users replace these institutions by depositing their own cryptocurrency into shared smart contracts. These pooled funds enable instant token swaps on decentralized exchanges, with depositors earning a portion of every trade fee instead of middlemen collecting the profits.
