Always energizing to be in a room full of people building the future from the ground up. Founders see problems as invitations, and I’m grateful to be surrounded by those bold enough to say yes.
A big thank you to Brex and Jonathan for cohosting an incredible dinner with an inspiring group of founders yesterday evening.

My biggest takeaway from starting my career in San Francisco
If you want to work in venture capital or startups, SF is the best place to start
The density of founders, investors, and opportunities here is unmatched. People are willing to meet you not based on credentials but hustle as well which helps if you are just out of college or dropped out
Start in SF -> build your network, sharpen your skills, and you can move to Austin, Miami, or anywhere else and hit the ground running
The reverse is much harder: being the “top dog” in a smaller market, then coming to SF and having to start from scratch
