Just learned that the Louis Vuitton “building” is not a building! That’s just a temporary scaffolding with a custom built construction cover.
It’s so successful in terms of becoming a tourist attraction, I don’t know how they’re going to take that down after that kind of attention. Literally people put it on their travel plans to see it.
And yes it is really impressive in person.

Around 2012 I had an entry-level employee who got completely obsessed about Bitcoin. His name was Matt.
He’d talk about BTC non-stop. It was so bad he once cornered me in the bathroom at our company holiday party and to talk more about BTC. Literally the whole party that night I couldn’t get him to stop talking about BTC.
One time in my office he told me “one day I want to be rich like you Val and if it happens, it’ll be because of Bitcoin”.
He was putting every penny into BTC from what he told me. And was telling me I need to too.
I thought he was nuts.
Who’s nuts now?
No idea what happened to Matt. He kinda deleted himself off the internet and is nowhere to be found online.
Matt, if you follow me, hit me up. I hope you stuck to your obsession and living the life.

Selling creates opportunities.
If you’re consistently selling, then you’re consistently creating opportunities.
Those opportunities are not necessarily transactional.
These same opportunities can create relationships, business and personal.
And selling something for nothing is selling too. Many of my best relationships and opportunities came from giving something away, whether its time, advice, or even a service.
So, don’t be afraid to ABC (always be selling).

We might see another massive asset value boom.
Stock market at all time highs
Inflation is in check at 2.4% (very healthy)
All while fed rate is at 4.5% (about the norm in recent decades)
The current administration wants the fed rate at 1% 🤯 and doing everything in their power to force this. (Personally I don’t think we need the cuts, definitely not that much)
That will throw too much gasoline into the fire and we’ll see insane optimism in the markets.
If Trump gets it his way and brings down the fed rate, I expect to see assets balloon.
There will be new bubbles, real estate, gold, crypto, startups, everything will be in overdrive.
Remember, we’ve probably never seen the rate go down aggressively (or at all) when the economy is this healthy. It would be unprecedented.
I’m not sure why he’s pushing for it, but the only major reason I can think of is that it’s the only way to pay for the federal deficit.
Last year we had a $1.7 trillion deficit. $900m of that went toward interest payments. So if you cut interest rates down to 1%, your deficit is reduced by a 1/3 or so. Furthermore, the economic activity spurs more tax revenue, so it’s easy to cut the annual deficit by over 50% when rates are that low.
Unfortunately that will come at the cost of inflation.
So hold on to, and buy more assets if you can, whatever your flavor of assets may be.
