ok. Answer a debate in the Lessin household. Would you rather watch Netflix at 10 pm or vibe code at 10 pm?

Is vibecoding as 'entertainment' at 10pm competitive with doom scrolling time? is that the vector where OAI competes with social and netflix? this and more on MoL this week

We asked @lessin about the mistakes he has made as a seed investor:
“So if you're an early stage investor, you're gonna have things you invest in that turn out to just be straight up fraudulent.
“Now you don't want that number to be too high, but, you know, for us, we probably run a 1% it's just fraud rate.”

I asked Zuckerberg if he switched AI gears after the disappointing Llama 4.
He said: "There is this big debate in the industry today. All right, is super intelligence going to be possible in three years, five years, seven years?
"But I don’t think anyone knows the answer. I just think that we should bet and act as if it’s going to be ready in the next two to three years.
"I believe there’s a shot at that. And if that is what you believe, you are going to invest hundreds of billions for whatever it takes to build out the strongest team."

I asked Mark Zuckerberg today on @theinformation TITV if there was a limit to what he would spend on capex for AI. He had an interesting answer.
He said he is always looking for ways to translate capital into "more productive capital" and that this is one way to do it.
He also commented at length about how teams really just want access to brand new GPU clusters and how that has become a recruiting advantage.
Clips coming soon.
