I think enjoying the process is the best way to create anything. having people appreciate the artifacts you put out into the world is nice and validating but ultimately you have to be doing it for the love of the sport

honestly I would go so far as saying it’s one of your main responsibilities in life to seek out relationships that have positive feedback loops. imagine being if John Lennon never met Paul McCartney

the best relationships tend to look like a true positive feedback loop. they bring out the best in you and you in them. when this works well it looks like you’ve developed supernatural levels agency to an external observer, only for reality to be far less individualistic
