Today is my last day at @SteakhouseFi 2 years ago I came across Steakhouse on the Maker forums. Steakhouse was way ahead of anybody I had seen in DeFi in thinking about stablecoin balance sheets and protocol economics. One fateful email later, I found myself as a new chef, traveling across the Atlantic to meet six internet strangers for our first offsite. Joining Steakhouse has turned out to be the best decision, as the next two years would become the most rewarding and fun experience. Through the bear market, we worked to bootstrap our @MorphoLabs vaults from scratch - today we are en route to a billion in TVL. The @grovedotfinance team within Steakhouse is now bridging DeFi with TradFi capital markets. There is a certain je ne sais quoi about this team - it’s just magic. And I’ll forever be grateful to @SebVentures @adcv_ and @AesPoker for bringing me into the kitchen. So what’s next? I see a huge opportunity in the convergence of DeFi and TradFi/RWAs. I’ve partnered up with @acm_romeo who very successfully managed the global arbitrage fund at Abraxas Capital over the last 4 years. We are cooking up an exciting product for DeFi users.
