I’ve observed a16z likes to back people who they can pitch to LPs, not so much things that will yield massive returns. For example, this guy is a professor who “knows AI”.
Story Protocol is run by a guy with an exit in Web2.
None of this really matters long term as product and sales beat all.
@TryBrickroad has been building for over a year and already works with the largest AI companies in the world (can’t name cos NDA but name some of the biggest and you’re probably right).
