A user opened a ticket in the Revoke discord today. Their sDAI balance isn't showing up. So I decided to dive in: turns out that sDAI is deliberately not emitting Transfer events on mint/burn of the token. This puts an unnecessary strain on the rest of the ecosystem.

As a public good it is hard to get enough revenue, because you're dependent on blockchain ecosystems paying for something that their users can get regardless of whether they pay. With Revoke, we've recently started collecting more data to help quantify the value that we're adding to the space. This includes how many losses we've prevented in hacks and phishing scams. What other data do you think can help show the value that we provide to blockchain ecosystems?

What is the difference between just a free product, and a true public good. To me, the difference is that the current product is still accessible, even if we change our business model or stop providing our services.
