DeFi & RWAs maxi
This is truly impressive.
We researched Ethena just a couple of weeks ago, and the USDe supply was at $5.8B.
We had to add a line at the beginning of the article saying that by the time the research was refined and published, the supply grew to $7.5B.
And now there's another billion in the matter of a few days.
Can't keep up with this growth lmao. Insane.

USDe supply is up $3.1 billion in <20 days, with more inflows than:
-all BTC ETFs combined
-every BTC ETF including IBIT
-every ETH ETF including ETHA
And rates aren't even near froth yet

I've had the chance to test @URNeobank and it’s so good I had to tweet about it.
Imagine Revolut, but fully onchain -> multiple fiat + crypto pairs, debit card functioning everywhere, and DeFi integrations (coming soon).
Drop a comment or DM me for an invite code.
One of the few really useful consumer apps.

What this chart really shows is how fastly the RWA landscape can change (Source: @RWA_xyz).
zkSync became the 2nd chain by total value after a single protocol, @tradable_xyz, launched in February.
Plume’s mainnet went live only a month ago, yet it already sits among the leaders (its own Dune dashboard shows ~$307M, which would place it 7th).
Unlike the slow and steady bootstrapping we see in DeFi, RWAs can attract huge single-entity inflows at once.
That’s a sign of how early we are.
This sector is set to expand massively.

There’s a wave of optimism in/for crypto that I’ve never felt before.
I joined the space in 2020, but discovered CT only in early 2023.
There has never been such a conflux of catalysts, opportunities, and progress.
I can’t recall a moment with so many catalysts lining up.
• Vaneck describing ETH as SoV
• TradFi openly bullish on tokenization
• Tether, Circle, Hyperliquid, Pumpfun & co. generating billions in revenue
• BTC & ETH ETFs live, with alt-coin ETFs on the way
• Plasma and Pumpfun raising 9-fig ICOs
• Stablecoins gaining adoption worldwide
Sure, BTC at new ATHs helps. But even without the price action, now is the time to grind, whether that means growing your portfolio, landing a crypto role, or launching a business.
The industry is accelerating, and the pie is getting bigger for everyone.
If there was ever a moment to double down, it’s now.

Tokenizing RWAs is a trillion dollar opportunity, and what will turn DeFi into a truly mature, internet-native financial system.
Why hasn't it happened yet?
- DeFi infra needs to mature still, and has been missing the high performance capabilities needed to support Nasdaq-style exchanges.
- Data infra lacks performance, security and customizability to support complex financial instruments from TradFi or high frequency trading across a broad set of assets.
- Lack of regulatory clarity and barriers of entry for institutional capital/liquidity have been holding back adoption.
Luckily, most of the above is literally being resolved as we speak:
- DeFi core primitives are evolving, and especially highly performant CLOBs (fully onchain or verifiable offchain implementations) will be a game changer. Thanks to maturing base layer infrastructure, including realtime blockchains like @megaeth_labs, Hyperliquid's HyperCore, @SeiNetwork or @fuel_network, scalable DA layers like @eigen_da or @celestia, ZK proving tech like @boundless_xyz or @SuccinctLabs, and high-performance appchain stacks incl. @sovereign_labs, we see more and more verifiable CLOBs emerge, that are finally able to make an onchain (or verifiable) Nasdaq possible.
- We're also seeing major leaps in the oracle infra sector, where @eoracle_network for example pioneers modular, programmable, and fully customizable oracle implementations, addressing the need for specialized data feeds when dealing with complex financial products. Pyth or Lazer on the other hand provide high frequency data feeds, powering some of the before-mentioned onchain CLOBs.
- Regulatory environment for crypto in general as well as tokenized assets is improving, especially in the U.S. (e.g. introduction of Genius Act), and is also evidenced by increasing institutional + corporate adoption, (e.g. $BTC or $ETH treasury strategies), or the increasing traction of stablecoins (the most RWA class onchain).
Overall, I'm more optimistic than ever that we're heading into the right direction, and that bringing RWAs onchain will be a huge catalyst for our entire space.
Bullish.

RedStone is crushing it, especially when it comes to the RWAs sector.
They secured an exclusivity deal with @Securitize and became their data provider partner, then partnered as the data provider for @eulerfinance’s EulerSwap and @sparkdotfi as well.
I put together a quick table comparing each provider's total value secured, number of protocols secured, and market cap.
The lower the MC/TVS ratio is, the more underrated the protocol is.
P.S. I also suggest reading @redstone_defi's RWA report (in partnership with @gauntlet_xyz and @RWA_xyz), as it's quite comprehensive and filled with many valuable insights.
