This is a really big deal! Sybil resistance isn't only a problem in Web3. It's a hard problem that needs more innovative approaches. WorldID, BrightID, etc. are cool and are worth trying, but the simplicity of Self cannot be beat. I'm excited to integrate it at @NEARGovernance!

The intersection of the AI economy and stable coins is a huge deal. Crypto is definitionally the natural payment and transaction rails for AI agents, this much is obvious. Give agents native access to stable coins and the sky's the limit. We're creating a parallel AI economy!

Meeting Izzy last week in Cannes was an absolute pleasure, and our conversation was one of the highlights of my week. If you're not already familiar with her work, check it out and subscribe - she's doing an incredible job telling a very important, global human story at the intersection of governance and technology including AI. I appreciate that she's been making an effort to travel, to meet builders where they're at, and to tell the full story, even when it's complex and nuanced. We need more journalism and more writing like hers!

Centralized AI is great for many things. I use it for these things, and I do so happily. But there are things it can't and shouldn't do. For one thing, you shouldn't share your deepest, darkest secrets with it. And it doesn't interop well. For these things, there's NEAR AI.

NYT says that AI is beginning to erode democracy. I beg to differ. It doesn't have to be this way. AI tools can, and will, play a constructive role in democracy and in governance more generally. This is my personal mission in my work on House of Stake.

Here's the full AI Copilot proof of concept video, created by our friends at @meta_pool for House of Stake. As you can see, it plugs into the HoS backend from @AgoraGovernance and lets you retrieve the current list of proposals, ask for the pros and cons of a proposal, etc. It can't vote on your behalf, but it can generate a button that you can click to vote. Pretty impressive for a first working prototype! The next functionality we'll add is help writing and reviewing proposals. From there, we'll begin working on turning the copilot into a fully-fledged AI delegate that can receive delegations of voting power and actively vote on behalf of NEAR users.
