One of the blockers to consumer adoption in crypto is the entitlement of the existing user base. Most product's first 1000 users are relentlessly needy, expect free handouts and airdrops, and usually ditch after they get their freebies. They'll be super toxic+loud if you don't give them what they want, so companies end up making bad decisions to appease the 1000 that footgun them for the next million.
