There’s something I can never forget.
I remember it was the first time I accompanied a client for a meal. Before leaving, my boss specifically pulled me aside and repeatedly reminded me: "When entertaining clients, you need to understand the rules. Just honestly take the food in front of you.
Never stretch your chopsticks too far, and definitely don’t stand up to grab food. You need to let the client feel that we have quality and upbringing; this way, the chances of successful cooperation will be greater!"
I kept this advice firmly in mind and adhered to it throughout the meal, only touching the dish in front of me.
As soon as the meal ended, I heard everyone whispering: "Who was that guy who came with the boss just now?
He ate an entire plate of pork knuckle by himself, as if he had never eaten meat before!" Was the boss being stingy? It seems this company can’t cooperate...
I thought to myself, I didn’t do anything wrong; I was just following what the boss said.
