BEA revised Q4 2025 US GDP growth to 0.7% QoQ annualized, down sharply from the initial 1.4% estimate and prior Q3's 4.4%. The numbers reflect downturns in government spending and exports, as well as a slowdown in consumer spending. Offsets included stronger investment growth and a smaller import decline than in the previous quarter. This 2nd revision of the Q4 2025 GDP was originally scheduled for Feb 26, but was rescheduled due to the government shutdown and data appropriation during this period. The 3rd and final GDP for Q3 2025 was revised up by 0.1% to 4.4%.
