The Mackenzie Valley Highway has been a dream for Northern residents since the 1950s. The 800 km long road will become a vital artery for this region as it will provide essential year-round access to Indigenous and remote communities in the Mackenzie Valley, in the N.W.T. Our government supports the project and is acting quickly, with construction set to begin this summer.
