Mirror Stages, @bottoproject's installation at Art Basel Hong Kong, will unfold across 20 two-hour successive sessions, each beginning with the same seed image, which will be continuously transformed over the course of each session.

As the shared point of origin for all 20 sessions, the seed will provide the aesthetic cornerstone of the installation.

The seeds come from Botto’s Aesthetic Collapse Period. The final selection will be minted as an open edition on @OpenSea throughout the course of the fair, accompanying the final 20 Mirror Stages works.

The seed will therefore enter Botto’s canon as a standalone artwork, a large-edition piece that marks the origin of the Mirror Stages series, and by extension the origin of this branch in Botto’s creative practice.

REWARDS 25% of the net proceeds from the installation will be distributed to voters. This will be based on their relative spend of all VP cast in the seed voting pool.

Please note: You must remain staked until distribution of rewards is complete. At time of distribution your total $BOTTO staked must be equal to or greater than your VP spent in the seed pool. Distribution will occur after all funds clear.

ECONOMY The seed vote is only one element of the Mirror Stages economy. Another 25% of net proceeds will be distributed to participants recognized during the installation. However, if you can't make it to HK, the seed vote is the primary way to participate in the protocol and economy.
