I had an entire binder of Japanese Pokemon Holographics, including a full page of base set Charizards. Never played, I’d open up the packs, sleeve them, and gently place them on display. Every single card was mint. Then one day at school, I opened my backpack and my binder was gone. Someone stole them and I was devastated. 25 years later, I still think of this. I occasionally check eBay and wonder if I’d recognize my set if it went up for sale. Never caught the kid who stole it from me, either.
