Anthropic says relying on AI for coding can weaken conceptual understanding. That’s probably true, but hasn’t every major tool done this in some way? Calculators hurt mental math. GPS hurt navigation skills. I don’t think it’s about whether learning changes, but whether the tradeoff is worth it. Thoughts?
