when a project flops and ppl start calling it a “rug,” ppl start blaming it on everything they see.
e.g. blaming it on “kols shilling rugs”
when, in the real world, 90% of ALL startups (including crypto startups) flops.
so in this case, every company not doing well = rug??
lately I been seeing there be so many engagement farmers writing out lists of “scammers,” or “kols shilling rugs,” or “kols not disclosing ads,” when, in fact, that’s totally not the case.
kols disclosed their paid promo:
got called out for “not disclosing promo” (for some weird ass reason and shamed on ct).
kols not related to any of these project/promo campaign:
got called out for getting paid/undisclosed ad?? (where this has never even happened)
a project offering refunds:
got called out as a “rug,” when, in fact, most projects don’t even give a sh1t about 'refunds'. (companies doing the 'right' thing is now getting shamed as rugs for projects underpforming)
then there are the kols/founders calling out creators for “shilling rugs,”:
when, in fact, they literally said it in their own comments that they weren’t sure it’s a rug, but went on to call it a rug an hour later when nothing has changed??
like what in the hell is going on with this world?
why are some people so disgusting and greedy for engagement farms and why are some founders so evil willing to do anything to trigger negative emotions to promote their business
