Today in history March 8, 1770 A massive funeral procession wound through the streets of Boston, bearing the bodies of four Boston Massacre victims: Rope maker Samuel Gray Sailor James Caldwell, Sailor Crispus Attucks & 17-year-old apprentice Samuel Maverick. These four had lain in state at Faneuil Hall before being carried to the Granary Burying Ground for burial in a shared vault.
