I've been on a health kick for a couple of years now, and here's a quick summary of what I've found to be the most important factors for healthy living and longevity. A family member recently had a terrible health scare, and I felt I needed to share something about my learnings. Remember, I'm not a medical professional - so this is not medical advice. My top 5 - this is in order of priority. Obviously, fitness and exercise go without saying. 1. Maintain Vitamin D levels of above 60 2. Control your insulin (through carbs/exercise/meds) 3. Minimize omega-6's (pro-inflammatory) 4. Eliminate microplastics and nanoplastics (get a whole-home water filter), and ditch plastic bottles. 5. 10,000 steps per day in addition to training Sounds basic, but once you apply this to your daily life, your body and mind will thank you, and your body is better equipped to heal and maintain itself.
