Want safe public transit? Arrest criminals. Want walkable streets? Arrest criminals. Want a higher-trust society? Arrest criminals. Most crime is committed by people with 3+ prior arrests. It’s a relatively small handful of criminals who cause a lot of the problems we see in society. Just arresting this small group of criminals would be a great step in the right direction.
