"Not only can I not go home, but safety is, you know, nowhere near guaranteed." Hundreds of thousands of stranded passengers and workers are trying to leave the Middle East after airlines canceled flights throughout the region. CBS News' @RamyInocencio spoke with Trent Burns, a Florida man who came to Qatar for work, but got stuck after the war with Iran broke out. Burns says the agencies he has reached out to have told him the U.S. government is not assisting Americans to evacuate to a safer region, leaving him with no plan to escape. His message to President Trump and leaders in Washington D.C.: "Hasty decisions put American lives at risk," and "leaving so many people stranded is just irresponsible on their part."
