Getting XRP yield in @XamanWallet via Flare Smart Accounts
Many people have been asking:
How does it work?
What is earnXRP?
What strategies + fees are involved?
Quick breakdown👇

You start with XRP on XRPL. In the xApp, you initiate an action and sign with your XRPL key in Xaman.
Flare Smart Accounts handle the on-chain execution on Flare — no new wallet, no new keys, and you don’t need to hold FLR.

Here’s the flow:
XRP (XRPL)
→ FXRP (1:1 backed by XRP)
→ deposit into the Flare XRP Yield Vault on @upshift_fi
→ receive $earnXRP
Redeem anytime:
earnXRP -> FXRP -> XRP back to XRPL
Vault withdrawls can take up to ~1 day depending on vault mechanics.
What is earnXRP?
earnXRP is your vault receipt token.
Your earnXRP balance usually stays the same — what changes is how much FXRP each earnXRP is worth, and redeems for as yield is earned.
Rewards are claimed and reinvested by the vault automatically, so there’s no needed manual claiming.
How does the vault generate yield?
The vault deploys FXRP across a curated mix of on-chain strategies on Flare (e.g., lending markets, DEX liquidity, yield farming where appropriate).
All allocations remain fully on-chain and can be inspected on @upshift_fi or verified on-chain.
What about fees?
Fees come from three surfaces:
Xaman: 0.5% deposit fee (no fee on withdrawals)
Flare: 0.11% to mint (XRP→FXRP) + a fixed Smart Account operator fee (FDC + gas) + 0.2% at redemption (FXRP→XRP)
Vault: 1% annual management fee (deducted daily) + 10% performance fee only deductible from accrued yield
