Intel ($INTC) has just released its Xeon 6+ "Clearwater Forest" data center CPU, which is the first server chip manufactured using Intel's 18A process. The highest configuration of this processor can reach 288 efficient cores (E-cores), utilizing a multi-chip design, and incorporates Foveros Direct 3D stacking and EMIB packaging technology. It also supports 12-channel DDR5-8000 memory and 96 PCIe 5.0 lanes (of which 64 support CXL 2.0).
