In a recent post, I pointed out this foundational shift coming in the world of agentic AI, and how CPU:GPU ratio will flip from where it is today. Today, its more like 1:2 or 1:4, the future may see this flip to 2:1. Some agentic workloads can entirely run on CPUs. No GPUs required. The datacenter world is just waking up to this with the recent agentic explosion, but will take 12-18 months to manifest in the industry.
