Codex just saved me $240 a year. I realized I was paying $20 a month for a podcast service I only used to host a few files for an old project. I’d spent over $300 since I last posted something. I didn’t want to pull the show so I had Codex create my own podcast RSS feed and host it on Cloudflare. Works great. The cost is effectively zero. I think a lot of SaaS is just ghost revenue from people and companies who forget they have subscriptions. Agent AI is going to change this in two ways: 1. Those companies now have the chance to quickly and inexpensively make their products a lot better by adding features and working through user requests. 2. Companies that don’t add more value are going to be vibe coded into oblivion. I'm now looking through all my invoices and seeing what's really worth it or not.
