SCOOP: Two heroic off-duty ICE officers patrolling Minnesota saved the life of a four-year-old boy who drowned after falling into a hotel pool.
The young boy’s panicked mother approached the officers last Friday as they were eating at a restaurant in the Minneapolis suburb of Plymouth hoping they could help save her unresponsive son. The officers jumped to the rescue.
The child had been under water for over five minutes after jumping into the pool to find a toy.
The agents performed CPR on the child for several minutes before paramedics arrived and he eventually regained consciousness.
@realDailyWire obtained a letter the Plymouth Police Department sent to ICE in recognition of their heroic actions, saying the federal officers responded “without hesitation … immediately began CPR and activated emergency medical services.”
“In a situation like this, the first few minutes of emergency aid and quality CPR are critical. Without the quick response and professional actions [of the officers] the outcome of this event would have likely been tragic.”
