Today, the Four Swordsmen of the Northern Expedition went 2 for 4, average performance, let's start the review!
Football was a total disaster, while basketball was all hands on deck.
Inter Milan was brutally beaten by the shining brother, suffering a double defeat. I originally thought that Inter would make a strong comeback at home, but I was overthinking it...
In the words of Teacher Cai @chessxyz, history shows that the Romans ultimately can't beat the Vikings, hahaha, dark humor.
Brugge also got a harsh beating from Atletico Madrid. I initially expected a 2:1 score; Brugge is actually quite resilient, having recently managed to equalize and even take the lead in some matches, which made me overrate Brugge's first team. Their away strength is also quite decent, but in the end, Atletico's overall strength was greater, even though they have shown some decline.
In the NBA, the Thunder let go of a starting lineup, but their strength didn't drop too much. Their offense performed well in this game, and a surprise player, Wallace, stepped up, hitting 4 out of 5 three-pointers, which was crucial. The Raptors, unfortunately, dug themselves too deep a hole, and it was hard to fill it in the final moments, with their starters being inconsistent.
The Celtics also let go of a Brown. They were behind in the first two quarters, but in the second quarter, it was like they transformed into a different team, directly taking the lead. In contrast, the Suns seemed to lose their backbone and went dark, getting outscored 30:11 in the third quarter. Although the Suns tried hard to catch up in the fourth quarter, it was too late. In this game, White carried the team; both teams had pretty average shooting percentages, but the Celtics were overall stronger.
