In response to a question about US Republican Senator Ted Cruz’s claim on Tuesday that the current governments of Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran could be replaced by regimes friendly to the US within the next six months, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Wednesday that China opposes interference in other countries' internal affairs under any pretext and opposes any actions that violate the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and infringe upon the sovereignty of other countries.
