If we believe that agents are the future, then companies that can effectively produce user generated content are going to do very well. The agents will need base level information to act on, and the ones that have access to real human generated content from companies like Beli, Reddit, Yelp, etc will be better than the ones that don't. The internet is currently being flooded with slop generated SEO content that exists only to rank in search results, but I believe that agents will be focused on Proof of Humanity (PoH). Platforms that require a high cost of entry for a review (like actually visiting a place or having a verified history) become the "Truth Layer" for these agents. There is one major risk of course: if AI agents do all the consuming of information, why would we keep producing it? If I never have to visit Yelp because my agent just tells me where to go, I might stop writing reviews. The companies that survive will be the ones that gamify the contribution to create addiction or create a community that people want to be part of regardless of the utility.
