I met a Canadian here in Florida who happens to be a young man, with an engineering degree. As we were talking, I asked him why are you here in Florida? He said I’m taking a vacation. He went on to say that he got a job in Texas as an engineer which paid him twice as much as his income in Canada. So he decided to take a vacation before he started to work. He couldn’t buy a home in Toronto and just bought a $300,000 house in Texas. He said “I have no future in Canada” the US gave him opportunity.
