I’m convinced the Bitcoin L1 era is over. Most builders have shifted focus to L2s and new chain designs. BIP-444 drove many away, and miners care more about extraction than innovation. @spark, @Odin_GodOfRunes, and @MerlinLayer2 are leading the next phase. Casey seems to regret what Runes became, BRC2.0 feels like a ghost chain, and while Alkanes has potential, progress looks slow.
